Philosophy: The Poem

I wrote this for a friend. That person knows who they are.

Philosophy

Come with me
to a place
where we can be
Plato and Socrates

Relax your mind
you'll be okay
let us find
some time

To look up
into the sky
and maybe show up
the grown ups

There's a mystery
in everything
and we have a history
of solving these things

And even if we don't
answer the infernal question
we won't
forget to show

That it doesn't matter
we still had fun
even if we appear to be mad hatters

Who ever said
philosophy was sane?
